Glasgow Raingarden Project Officer

CSGNT is seeking applications from people with an enthusiastic and positive outlook who are interested in helping achieve the CSGN Vision of transforming Central Scotland into a place where the environment adds value to the economy and where people’s lives are enriched by its quality.
This position will involve leading on the development and delivery of a public awareness raising campaign and community engagement focusing on raingardens as multifunctional nature based solutions to a range of urban issues.
Central to the post is community engagement and consultation, therefore a proven track record of working closely with communities, groups and individuals is vital, as is experience of organising and running workshops and events, both as the main organiser and as part of larger events. Social media, video and website skills will also be an advantage.
Experience of managing consultants and contractors is desirable, as is a knowledge of green infrastructure, nature based solutions, sustainable urban drainage and/or biodiversity.
This is a 3 day a week, 12 month position based in our HQ near Shotts, North Lanarkshire. Significant work time will be spent in and around Glasgow.
