Designing Streets Publish Two ‘Street Detail’ Case Studies

The Designing Streets policy for street design in Scotland has had two case studies added to its online toolbox on the Creating Places website. The two examples use the Glasgow Commonwealth Games Athletes’ Village and Wauchope Square, Craigmillar sites to show good practice on the technical ‘street detail’ aspects of implementing Designing Streets.

CSGN Local Authorities Chosen to Roll Out Stalled Spaces Project

Seven local authorities are to receive funding as part of the Stalled Spaces Scotland programme it was announced today.  The Legacy 2014 programme Stalled Spaces Scotland led by Architecture and Design Scotland (A+DS), is aimed at supporting local authorities and communities to bring underused green spaces, stalled developments sites, vacant and derelict land back in to temporary use for the benefit of local communities.
